Musical manuscripts

Jolivet’s manuscripts are kept by the Bibliothèque nationale de France – Département de la musique.
Jolivet’s personal library

The Centre de documentation musicale Gustave Mahler is the depositary of most of Jolivet’s books and musical scores.
The books are very often annotated by the composer and a large number of the scores are dedicated to Jolivet.
Other documents

The private archives of André Jolivet include numerous documents such as letters, newspapers, programs, concert posters, personal notes, lectures and broadcasts.
It is possible to consult these private archives but a prior appointment must be made through the Association’s offices.

Apart from recordings of Jolivet’s music since 1941, a number of participations in radio and television programs can be found in the collection of the INA (Institut National de l’Audiovisuel).
