Exhibition: Mana objects (on January 11, 2003)
Presenting, for the first time to the public, six pieces (including two sculptures by Calder) offered to Jolivet by Edgar Varèse on his departure for the United States in 1933. This collection plunges us into this singular universe of creation, in the heart of bustling Paris in the thirties.
The exhibition will be in the "Musée de la Cité de la Musique " from January 11 to March 23, 2003.

Concert in Paris (on October 31, 2002)
Concert on October 31 at 12. 30, given as part of "The Five Percussion Days" in the auditorium of the Conservatoire supérieur of Paris by the CNR percussion group directed by Frédéric Macarez: Ceremonial for six percussionists (composed as a homage to Varèse).

The same group played this composition in Columbus, Ohio on the occasion of the International Convention of the " Percussive Arts Society ".
Concert in Lille (on October 30, 2002)
Concert on October 30 in Lille, as part of the "Martine Géliot " International Harp Competition : concerto for harp, soloist: Pierre - Michel Vigneau, National Orchestra of Lille.

Correspondence
The letters of E.Varèse to A.Jolivet as well as some letters of Jolivet to Varèse, presented and annotated by Christine Jolivet-Erlih, are to be published by the Editons Contrechamps (Geneva).
Recordings
Both works for piano, Mana and the Cinq dances rituelles, were recorded by Marie-Josèphe Jude for the
"disques Lyrinx".

Score
The reproduction of the score of Mana, annotated by the composer and in a numbered edition, will be published by Editions Jobert.
